About Your Syracuse Boudoir Photographer

Hi! I’m Rae, your Syracuse based Boudoir Photographer! I am so excited to get to know you! But first, here is a little bit about me.

I am a 40-something mom and wife. I love comedies, I have a potty mouth, and I wear my heart on my sleeve. My kids are teens, so send prayers lol!

We have been in Upstate, NY for almost 17 years now- but before that I grew up in Orlando, Fl and still kinda consider it home 🙂 One thing I miss about Florida is access to the beach. Nowadays, whenever we travel to anything with an east coast, I make it a point to haul my butt outta bed and catch a sunrise. It really recharges my batters to connect with nature like that!

My entire family is incredibly artistic. My dad taught me how to use his old Minolta Film camera when I was just a kid ( I still have it!). I took photo classes throughout High School where I learned to develop my own film and print my own prints. As time went by, I continued my passion for photography as an avid hobbyist. I have even won a few awards here and there!

In April of 2021 I took the advice of a good friend and decided to become a Professional Photographer. It wasn’t long after that when I did my first Boudoir Photography Session for a good friend. It was such a blast, but what got me was her reaction when she saw her images for the first time. I quickly got hooked on that feeling and to this day, reveal day is still my favorite! I love the look on my clients’ faces when they see these incredible images of themselves, some are even brought to tears because they don’t believe that what they see on the screen is the same person they see in the mirror. It makes me feel so good inside to show people that they can smash societal beauty standards and become their own definition of beautiful. That’s my why.
